PLYMOUTH duo Hungry Bears unleash an array of classic covers in a mammoth two-hours plus set at The Cove Cafe Bar on Saturday, May 2.
Expect big hitters from the likes of Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Led Zep and The Eagles for a May Bank Holiday Special in Hope Cove, Devon.
Veterans of many a band, Rob Williams and Derek Wood pool their experience and styles to produce a sound bigger than normally expected from a two-piece.
With a killer blend of acoustic and electric guitars plus Derek’s vocals, Hungry Bears perform tracks usually only delivered by a full band.
That means their take on some of the ‘rock monsters’ along with acoustic favourites to leave any crowd buzzing.
Songwriters too, they often thrown in some originals for good measure.
And it runs in the family with Derek’s boy Chris on drums for indie rock purveyors Bastille.
Live from around 9.30pm, admission is free.
Music Meal Deals will once again be in operation – booking is advised.
