EXCEPTIONAL bluesman Ben Carr makes more waves with his first set at The Cove Cafe Bar on Saturday, June 27.
Rejoice at an energetic and engaging set from a legend on the local circuit as a burning passion for blues, jazz and roots shines through.
In busking style, he’ll be perched on top of his beat box with slide guitar, tambourine on one foot and banging a drum kick peddle via the other.
Carr puts his own stamp on classics from blues heroes such as Bessie Smith, Lead Belly, Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Johnson and Howlin' Wolf.
Also expect to hear music influenced from some of the great crooners of jazz, from Bing Crosby to new era artists such as Tom Waits.
He’s bringing it large to Hope Cove, let’s make it a party.
Live from 9.30pm, admission is free.
Music Meal Deals will once again be in operation – booking is advised.
