ACOUSTIC singer-songwriter Chris Davis returns to pump out an array of big hitters at The Cove this Wednesday, August 3.

Since taking to the stage at 18, the Plymouth-born musician has been hooked on performing in front of a crowd.

He’s cut his teeth on stages thought the South West, clocking up seven gigs a week to get his fix.

And as a result he’s built up a lengthy and eclectic list of classic songs from the 70’s to the present day, which sees him chop and chef from funk to folk, rock to rap and everything in between.

Not one for holding back or taking himself too seriously, he delivers a big sound in a lively and bouncy style which is quick to rub off on the audience.

FOLK pop singer-songwriter Luke Deakin unleashes a bangin’ mix of upbeat covers in The Cove on Wednesday, August 10.

Back in the house after almost six-months away, expect another lively dose of classics from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Paul Weller and Oasis through to Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and the Beatles.

Armed with plenty of crowd pleasers, Deakin also throws in some of his own material into the mix, having generated some serious interest among industry big wigs.

Robust guitar tunes coupled with astute lyrics have seen him tour Ireland, Europe and as far as Hong Kong.
