FUNKE tour hits Hope Cove

ONE man, one sonic explosion.
Uncategorized and uncharted, the awesome Funke and The Two Tone Baby arrives at The Cove as part of an extensive tour on Thursday, November 15.

Jammed halfway between frenzied alt-blues and metronomic dance beats. Combining guitar and harmonica with beatboxing and effects that seamlessly collide the organic with the mechanical to create a fresh sound of unstoppable rhythm and unrelenting melody.

From supporting Skinny Lister, Beans on Toast, Hayseed Dixie and Mercury Prize nominees The Comet is Coming to a 40 date festival tour in 2017, including standout shows at Beautiful Days, Bearded Theory and Hungary’s Sziget Festival, Funke has quickly becoming a must-see act on the festival and touring circuit.

Funke arrives in Hope Cove on a 22-date tour to promo long awaited third album ‘Denizen’.

Ska Reggae Clubnight at The Cove in Hope Cove Devon

SKA Reggae Clubnight TONIGHT!

ONE of the hottest club nights in the South West for Ska Reggae fans is back at The Cove on Saturday, September 1.

Time to skank, Simmertones front-man Glyn Wilcox is back on the decks with Ska Au Go Go – spinning rare grooves and classic cuts in a fusion of ska, reggae and rocksteady sure to make you beat your feet.

Wilcox knows his stuff with The Simmertones one of the South West’s best-loved ska reggae bands – recently making playlists on Radio 2, 6Music and across the US.

Ride the shuttle bus to Hope Cove with a pick-up at Kingsbridge Quay at 8pm and Malborough Post Office at 8.15pm. The bus returns from The Cove at 11.30pm.

Travel and admission is £8.
