The Rambunctious Social Club live at The Cove in Hope Cove Devon

Rambunctious boys back for club night

BEAT your feet in a world of electro swing, tropical, global bass and latin beats as one of the South West’s most unique club/arts experiences returns to The Cove on Saturday August 11.

It’s Rockpool Rapture as The Rambunctious Social Club continue their residency with a Summer Special in Hope Cove.

This club night’s immersive and instantly infectious vibe appeals to a broad section of revellers, young and old – pretty much the perfect night out on the South Devon coast.

Run by Cornish artist Lee Hodges (Hodguez) and Glyn Griffiths (Senor Griff), it is now in it’s eighth year and they’ve smashed the likes of Bestival and Tropical Pleasure Festival

Musically, Rambunctious manages to pull off a dazzling array of genres from Tropical to Swing, Eastern European to Bluegrass, African to Electro Swing while still retaining it’s own utterly unique sound.

We party once again.

Advance tickets are £5 or £10 including a shuttle bus from Kingsbridge and Malborough.

The People's String Foundation live at The Cove in Hope Cove Devon

Stunning violin-led trio return to Hope Cove

BOHEMIAN violin-led trio The People’s String Foundation return to The Cove with a stunning combo of passionate theatrics and Urban Gypsy jazz on Sunday, July 29.

Back after one of the best gigs we’ve seen here, the Cornwall-based band embrace the experimental and avant-garde, slipping into the realms of jazz, hip-hop beat work and Middle Eastern melodies.

Performing as a duo, three-piece or expanding into a 24 piece orchestra, this collection of talented musicians are fast becoming recognised as the heavyweights of the South West.

Led by Jazz singer Ben Sutcliffe, his virtuoso violin styles have seen him play with the likes of Ralph McTell, The Levellers, The Stranglers, The Yardbirds, The 3 Daft Monkeys, and Gary Stringer from Reef.

These guys are guarenteed to move the heart and tap those feet.

Live from 8.30pm, admission is free.
