Morris Men in Hope Cove

Morris Men back in Hope Cove

BIG thanks to the Dartington Morris Men for making their annual visit to Hope Cove on New Year’s Day.

Another large crowd turned out in force to see their Christmas Mummers’ Play while the party continued in here all afternoon.

With the pub closed, we stepped in to ensure this village tradition continued.

Thanks to all those who enjoyed the day.

Here’s some pics, please send us more if you have them!

Live music in Hope Cove on New Year’s Eve

RISING Devon blues sensation Russell Sinclair brings his stripped down high-energy set to The Cove Cafe Bar on New Year’s Eve.

Enjoy a blend of originals and eccentric covers performed on acoustic guitar and stompbox as Hope Cove celebrates the “Big One’ on Wednesday, December 31.

With food, drink and tunes completing over six hours of festivities at the venue, admission is FREE.

Already wooing many in the UK’s blues circle, the 26-year-old is building a great reputation with his energetic live guitar driven performances.

Preparing to hit Chicago in 2015, Sinclair arrives at The Cove fresh from supporting South West favourites Mad Dog Mcrea.

Doors open from 7pm until 2am.
