ENJOY live music and sample some stand-out beers at the Inaugural Hope Cove Folk & Ale Festival over the May Bank Holiday Weekend (22-25).

Two of the South West’s brightest folk rock prospects headline the four-day event as The Cove looks to add something different to the local calendar.

Six guests will be on tap alongside local cask ales in addition to an existing range of over 30 beers and ciders as the Hope Cove venue marks it’s first birthday in style.

“It’s been a brilliant first 12 months here and we’ve built our reputation on trying to do something a little different down in this beautiful village,” said spokesperson Toby Robinson.

“Our customers have loved the opportunity to sample some local beers they wouldn’t usually try anywhere else and our first few gigs have gone down a storm.

“So it’s natural to put the two things together and celebrate our first birthday alongside establishing an event we can grow year on year.

“It’s also an opportunity to thank everyone down here for their support, particularly those regulars that have been fantastic.”
Exeter female duo Sound of The Sirens take centre stage on the Sunday with four-piece Haunt The Woods headlining on Saturday.

All the guest beers will be on tap from the Friday right through to the Bank Holiday Monday with special offers available.
