SHROPSHIRE’S answer to Frank Turner, Paul Henshaw arrives at The Cove Cafe Bar armed with a powerful set of acoustic rock ’n’ roll folk punk.

The singer-songwriter promises to take you on an emotional roller-coaster and for all the right reasons in Hope Cove on Saturday, September 26.

He’s a gig junkie, playing from the far-flung reaches of Wisconsin coffee houses and beach festivals to sweaty punk gigs in Eastern Europe and China and of course the length and breadth of his beloved UK.

Also hailed as a cross between Billy Bragg and Tom Robinson for passion and meaning, he wears his heart on his sleeve – winning over crowds during support slots for Newton Faulkner, John Otway, Attila the Stockbroker and The Blockheads.

Expect to get truly sucked in.

Live from 9.30pm, admission is free.

Music Meal Deals will once again be in operation – booking is advised.
