FUNKY grooves, rockabilly ska and dubstep reggae push the boundaries during a hi-octane Hope Cove Weekend for 2016.

Live music dominates as hundreds of visitors descend upon the Devon seaside village for an annual extravaganza of family fun and good times.

And The Cove once again plays its part – supplying some diversity in the entertainment stakes with a couple of firsts and a welcome return.

It’s time to turn the tables as Plymouth-based DJ Pragmatik kicks things off with his Friday Night Session of ElectroSwing and Ghetto Funk.

Taking classic tracks from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, Go Go Skank chew them up and spit ‘em out in a rockabilly ska style that will get anyone on their feet

Think Take On Me and Teenage Dirtbag with trumpets on Saturday, August 29.

Back by popular demand after smashing it in 2015, live dub reggae band Jabbrock return to unleash grooves and base on HCW Sunday.

Establishing themselves at the forefront of the genre in their native South West, David Spicer (bass, keys, production, lyrics), Dan Salter (lead vocals, lyrics) and Benjammin Lee (rhythm guitar) generate the perfect vibe with self-penned songs that blend melodic, soulful harmonies with elevating grooves and solid bass lines.

Renowned for some stand-out live performances, their unique chemistry and on-stage antics have won over crowds across the region

A Bank Holiday staple now, The Cove will also have 12 guest cask ales to mark the event alongside the 50+ craft beers and ciders always available.

Great foot and BBQ make sure every bass line is covered.
