Tourists - Hope Cove Beer and Ale Festival
DEVON’S brightest indie prospects Tourists plan a triumphant return to live shows with a special set at the Hope Cove Beer and Music Festival on Saturday, May 26.
Having played Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Glastonbury in 2017, the Torquay five-piece took some time off the road to record their eagerly-awaited debut album.
Now they’re ready to give the world a major wake-up call.
Long tipped to hit the next level, 2018 is set to be an exiting year for the seaside quintet.
And its a real coup they’ve chosen The Cove to kick it all off.
Blending melodic, dreamy, beach-pop with a darker, sinister edge, they combine elements of shoe gaze and 80’s synth-pop with deeper-rooted post-punk influences.
Following the release of Cut And Run which landed in Spotify’s Global Viral 50 earning over 500,000 pleas, the band won support from the likes of Huw Stephens, BBC Introducing and top online music tastemakers.
Live from 9.30pm, admission is FREE.
Ride the festival shuttle bus with pick up, drop in Kingsbridge and Malborough for just £4. Buy tickets online.
